An independent work, part of a master’s diploma on transience. About forty portraits of fellow students from the studio, set in a grid across the arches of the corridor.
The mural was meant to disappear from the start: once documented, it was painted over, and the painting-over was recorded in a short documentary film. The portraits emerge from an abstract painted layer, shaped with plotter-cut stencils.
