The church interior was designed as a whole, to be completed in several stages. The Annunciation spans the chancel arch, the Hand of God emerges from a circle on the chancel ceiling, and the nave has a coffered layout.
The palette is deliberately limited to warm, muted colors so that it will work with the light of future stained-glass windows. Plant motifs refer to the church’s earlier polychromy.
